Do I have to be referred by a doctor?

No, massage therapists can assess and treat without referral by a doctor. However few insurances cover massage therapy, if any.  Most plans are self reimbursement from the insurance company. Check with your provider for more information.

How many visits will I need?

The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, your therapist will discuss their treatment plan for the rehabilitation process.

Appointments

Services are scheduled by appointment only.  Currently we are taking appointments through our business number 1-859-363-6338  Text Message is the fastest for us to respond, however, calls are welcomed.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Some form of massage will require a partial undress, so that you will be comfortable, please wear modest underwear or even a pair of shorts is appropriate.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you fail to provide 24 hours notice or do not show for your appointment you will be charged a cancellation fee. The fee is 50% of your scheduled appointment cost.

If you need to reschedule because you are not feeling well or have any COVID-19 related symptoms, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. There will be no fee charged for cancellations due to illness.

Treatment duration depends on your lifestyle, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, and other factors.  Re-evaluations will be done to assess your progress and your massage therapist will communicate with you to help you achieve your therapy goals.

Full payment is due at time of service or before. We accept cash, checks, FSA (Federal Savings Account), HSA (Health Savings Account), & credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express).

Please call us as soon at 1-859-363-6338 as you know you will not be on time for your appointment.  If you are late to your session you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment. Due to our tightly booked schedule we are generally unable to extend your session beyond your original appointment time. Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service you scheduled.

Gift Certificates may be purchased for 60 or 90 minute sessions and are redeemable for massage services only, no cash value.  All Gift Certificates expire 1 year from the date of purchase.  Atomic Wellness LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, unauthorized card use or damaged cards. Certificates may be replaced if a valid card number can be provided.

Please inform us at time of scheduling of any health conditions, allergies, special needs or concerns you have. Your safety is important to us & some services may not be appropriate for certain conditions.

Recognizing that some of our staff, therapists, and clients have sensitivities and/or allergic reactions to various synthetic fragrances, we have a Fragrance-Free Policy. In an effort to create the healthiest environment possible for everyone, we request that you refrain from wearing perfume, scented lotions, body sprays or other similar products while at our center (more specifically: any product that emits a distinctly noticeable scent).

In our effort to maintain a relaxing & tranquil atmosphere for clients, we ask that all cell phones and mobile devices be silenced or turned off upon entering our center. Cell phone use is not permitted beyond the reception area.

Be sure to speak up. All aspects of your massage session can be modified to your preference: pressure (too light or too deep), lighting in the room, style of music, temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence.

We are currently not scheduling services for persons under 18 at this time.

The health and wellbeing of our clients and team members is our top priority. If you currently or have recently had any respiratory, flu or cold symptoms including fever, chills, nasal drainage/congestion, sore throat, cough, muscle aches, or shortness of breath, you are you are required to reschedule your appointment for a date at least 14 days in the future.
